Creating a thread here since a lot of the throwers around the greater Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area wanted to start a thread for us local boys & girls to keep up!

We talked about this in a previous thread, while on lunch today, I made my way over to S.W. Randall Toyes & Giftes today to see what they carried.

Sad to report that there was not much there, but the did carry some Duncan Imperials and Butterflies.

So if you forget your yo and are in the office, you can always stop by at lunch time and pick up a desk dweller to leave in a drawer.

I’ll keep checking for other stores.

Thanks for checking. I always was curious if anything was still there ha.

I was thinking of maybe stopping down at Edie’s Entertainment (on Penn Ave.) as well, just to see if they carry anything.

I hope to meet all of yall in person when the next PA contest comes around. (I probably walked by most of yall without realizing) It was one of my favorite venues this year for a contest at vellum brewery.

We need name badges at YoYo’s events lol.

We all need to make a pilgrimage to the store in Erie… I’ll drive!

You know I was just thinking about that. It’s not that far at all and I have honestly never been there.

ECM venue was awesome, and the kombucha was excellent…

ECM was over on Southside in March correct? I wanted to check it out but had surgery so I could not be available to go.

Im curious, so what style do yinz all play? I’m trying to learn 2A (very slowly) and am more of a fixed axle/responsive/old guy :old_man: style thrower.

Curious what everyone’s forte is and what their collections/EDC’s are.

Is that the one in shady side?

I’m a 3A player and I’m trying to get started on soloham, basic looping, and modern 1A. I’m struggling the most with 1A. I am very very eager to learn!

I live in Squirrel Hill and I’m glad to meet with yoyo players. I’ll let you try all of my yoyos and I’ll answer all of your questions regarding 3A

No Randalls is the one downtown on Smithfield Street across the street from the old Steel City building.

I’m actually available today. I planned to sleep early, but if anyone wants to come by I’ll stay awake (DM me for address) for a longer while.

Is anyone going to us national?

This one?

Yep! That’s the one!
