They are amazing critters. High maintenance on the diet, but so Cool.

For certain, mine would come running over and climb up my leg to my shoulder when I made a little clicking noise with my tongue, and would sleep in my shirt pocket and stuff, haha. Absolutely adorable.
Diet wasn’t too difficult, it can be overthought for certain, some light meat or protein like mealworms and fresh fruits mostly. They lived for about 14 years, and the exotic vet always said they were the happiest gliders she’d ever worked with, haha.

Do they ever bite ya? I want to love Parakeets, for example. but I can’t get past the biting.

What I tell my kids;
If it has a mouth, it CAN bite you.
Why animals bite is another question. I have been bit by a Sugar Glider. Mistake was mine, not his. I had feed him meal worms and not washed my hands.
He smelled Meal worms on my fingers and probably though he was in Heaven with a meal worm that big.
