I just got a SPYY Spyder and the pads appear to be worn out. What kind of pads fit that yoyo, can I just use silicone, where can I get the proper pads?

Diff pads maybe? Not super familiar but generally you cant silicone a yoyo that uses broad pads as the recess for the response is not deep enough
Any idea where to get those broad Dif-pads?
For some reason they look a bit smaller in outer diameter from the picture than I remember though.
I’ve used them in place of duncan friction stickers if that helps
Actually just checked the yoyo wiki and thos yoyos shipped with thick diff pads in them

Yes, most SPYY yoyos shipped w/dif pads and the pic is definitely a worn dif pad. You can revive them a bit by cleaning either with soapy water (rinse well) or lighter fluid. And as noted, they are sold here at the YYE store.
