Something so wonderful...

needs to be shared. I’m hoping for you guys that this link from Norwegian Broadcasting will work in other countries than Norway.

In music history class, we were just listening to a lot of pieces from the romantic era. Our teacher told us to look up this project.

Modest Mussorgsky wrote “Pictures at an Exhibition” to a set of pictures by his close friend who had recently died. This suite is one of the most known piano pieces out there. World acclaimed pianist Leif Ove Andsnes (more Norwegian gold) has done his interpretation of this piece, and has collaborated with Robin Rhode, known artist, to create one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen and heard in my life.

Again, I’m not sure if this link will work for anyone outside Norway. If it doesn’t work, I feel greatly sorry for you and will mention that the deluxe edition (CD+DVD+Booklet) is on amazon for roughly $40.
