What’s the softest poly around? Bulk or boutique. I’m using MFD vines right now and they’re very coarse.
Haven’t tried many strings, but I can say that Buddha is
pretty soft and is much softer than kitty string

Yoyo String Lab. Those strings that came with the TiVayder were super soft. However, I’ve found in recent months that nylon tends to be so much softer and forgiving to my hands. I’ve actually been using a mix of poly, nylon, and 50/50 blends lately - been working on a little write up comparing them all, but it’ll probably be a few months of playing before I feel comfortable giving my opinions (want to make sure I give them all fair play time).

Nylon definitely is the softest. I’m starting to use more poly though because it seems to be more consistent with slack elements, given the high speed of nylon.

I definitely feel that. Slacks, whips, and suicides feel so much more consistent with poly. It was a bit of an adjustment period those first couple weeks using nylon lol.
