Tomorrow is the southern California yoyo competition, and I will in fact be entering. This is my first contest, so any quick tips on stage performance? I highly doubt I will make it past prelims, so this is mostly just for fun and to put on a good show.
Ditch the mentality that you aren’t going to make it past the prelims. Emanate the energy you wish to absorb. 
Just have fun, man. Interact with the audience.
