The Big Fun part is just the caps. The throw itself is a Butterfly XT, which I believe qualifies as slim.
Very cool. Never tried removing a cap… yet…
I ordered those here:
My Big Fun has pink caps and they’ve also come off on their own when I dropped the throw.
I “Modded” my Duncan Hornet.
I felt caps were affecting weight distribution, total weight, and spin drag… or was it one of the caps cracked and I removed them.
Happy Friday! Here’s my new Cavemen Go fixie.
And next to a Butterfly for scale.
Thanks @vegabomb for making it. I’m really enjoying it so far!
Caveman is great!
Love the Theodore, I should play with my copper one more. Intense is a good description of it lol, the regular Theo already has some heft and power and the copper plating turns that up to 11.
Obligatory Rancid Milk:
Now that’s a nice half swap!
Probably fair criticism, i used 40mm as my point 34 is probably truer. The snack will also seem “thicker” due to its diameter.
But I consider width along with the diameter and the width / diameter ratio is pretty equal to that of a full size yoyo. It doesn’t matter though. Yoyos are for fun.
Ok I’ve been playing with copper version basically all of yesterday and this morning and it’s quickly becoming my favorite version; I completely see how it could be your “one”. The extra weight from the plating gives it a bit extra power that makes some more modern meta tricks possible while still having a tug response.
While it’s no rancid milk on a fixie (yeah, multiple people have done it which I think is insane) or @EOS44 busting out Brent Stole>Reverse Brent Stole>Ninja Vanish Rejection on a fixie, being able to do that same combo on a copper Theodore I feel shows it’s potential.
