Fair enough.
I am still not sure what it is for; but to each their own.
So, is that drink thing applicable to OneDrop coins?

I suspect that One Drop coins earn about as many free drinks in bars as that Mormon Church coin does.
I’ve actually been thinking about it this thread and my tendency to fidget a lot. Decided I’m going to have the machine shop I work with prototype some baoding balls (those two balls you rotate in your palm in constant circles) out of Delrin (and maybe Ultem). They should be a more quiet and subtle way to fidget and improve grip while in meetings compared to butterfly knives lol.
My sales rep being in China was pretty interested in the idea since they are popular there. They are pretty underrepresented in the fidget and skill toy market so I thought they could be nice to make.
Those look nice! How heavy are they?
tks! couldn’t find my calipers atm but they look to be ~1 3/4" diameter…woa just noticed the numbers in the weight and dia same ![]()
Heavy! I no longer have to worry that the Delrin ones are gonna be too heavy
thank you for weighing those!
Found a local source to quickly make me Delrin 1 1/2 inch baoding. They clack together noisier than I thought they would while just rotating them together, not enough to get picked up on a noise canceling mic during a call but enough that I wouldn’t play with them right next to my wife on the couch while watching tv.
I think I’ll try some machined nylon or some cast polyurethane (skate wheel material) and see if those are stealthier.
Fidget Sliders. There is a whole high-end Fidget scene I think everyone here would love.
Check out the recent chamionship video
So I just got this Kickflip Magnetic Fidget board in, and it’s highly addicting. Figured this was a fun place to share, haha.
Neat sliders. I like the noise but for an office setting it would be a bit much great for the home office though
agreed, looks fun bit its probably not office friendly unless somebody makes a quet version/mod
im still digging around but it looked like there were quiet(er) options available
