Depends on what you are willing to spend. The shutter is $45 and the supernova is around $120. Thats a huge difference in price. As for play, the shutter is slightly smaller than the supernova which makes chopsticks easier and such as well as horizontals. But the Supernova has a greater spin time and will last longer when doing combos. I have both and I like my supernova a bit more than the shutter. But the shutter is a very close second. If you have the money for the supernova, go with that.
Supernova costs about $80 retail. Can easily be found for <$50 on the BST. As for your question OP, I have to say I like my supernova more. It’s all preference though since they are both great performers.

This. Or if you’re comfortable buying second hand, Supernovas can be found on the BST in good condition for around $50.

Well I don’t like the shutter much at all. So I would say supernova but then again I don’t super like that yoyo either.
