I never said my ideas are any good. Ask Ms. Pyro, she knows…

Case in point;

“Hey, lets cut up a metal yoyo and put it in a plastic yoyo.”

for those of us already rocking bear hugs, would you be able/willing to sell just the new paracord config? would be kool to have a 2 set that can be swapped with same clip/pick? I’m not sure id want the bolo on the wider throw days because the beads would be too dangly for me when cinched way down. anyway, just looking at options. always love seeing your new ideas :call_me_hand:

Ya i can definitely do that! And despite this design being more universal, the Bearhug is still much better for unresponsive throws because the leather collar holds the string in securely.

Edit: I can also do this new holster with the ends secured together. In that format, you can loop the yo-yo either on top or bellow the cord lock. Which means you can have it hang longer with no tail (like the BearHug) or have it secure higher with a tail.

Appreciate the support! :smiling_face:

hmm i think i like the separate bolo look for the high walls. yes, the regular one fits my wider ones like a glove! the leather strap contains the string amazingly well too. i dont mind switching between the configs at all. i was thinking it might be fun to rock a diff color setup for each. I’ll dm you

Chipping away at the next run of 3-pack cases. Cut and stamped some patches this week. Next is dying, then buffing, chiseling stitch holes and stiching. :hot_face::smiling_face_with_three_hearts: It’s a labour of love.

My coolest homemade creation thus far is this, my original Batman the animated series lunchbox from elementary school (I’m 40 this month :joy:) that i converted into a hard case for my yo-yos since I didn’t have hard yoyo case money. I’m really happy with it since I’d held onto that lunch box most of my life!

My girl found this Mario figure at the store she works at and grabbed me one cuz it’s Mario. I found the weight almost the same as my die counterweight and after some practice for hand feel it’s become a useable counterweight after a hole was drilled.

I found some cool mini D20s while on holiday and picked up some matching sets to turn them into beads. It was some delicate drilling, but turned out awesome. :sunglasses:

Kept seeing this thread pop up and it got me to finally make a paracord holster like everybody else lol.

I kinda like having a holster to clip onto my bag, it feels more convenient when reaching for your yoyo just to play for a minute or two. Just wanted to have space to have a counterweight held snug (I run the cw between the two strands of white paracord that lock the cw into place when the holster is closed and those stands are clipped taut, that’s why the white segment is so long, so I can have enough slack in those strands when fully open to easily get the cw in and out) and also that it wouldn’t have the yoyo hanging down low where it just obnoxiously swings and repeatedly bangs against my backpack/occasional walls.
