Workhorse at Fort Casey, Whidbey Island, Washington.

Fort was Built in 1902 as one of 3. 10 inch guns with a range of 8 miles. Protection for Puget sound.

All three forts were active through the end of World War 2. Closing in the late 40’s.

Looks very similar to Fort Morgan Alabama where my family visited a few years ago. It’s wild to think that when you are looking at the structure itself, you are looking at military technology. They had a few guns there, it was a memorable day.

I don’t have a picture but my mom is a teacher and she told me that I could yoyo in her class for a little bit, it made the kids happy! Probably have some more throwers in the future!

My god, the search feature DID NOT want to find this thread. Idk even know if this clip is even worth all the effort, but here we are lol

Pennypack Park, fortunate to have this just down the road from my house.

Of course the only thing she took a vid of was me making an error, but the vibe is there lol

Went camping this week. It hailed for a little bit and when going for a walk afterwards we found this butterfly stuck in a puddle. I think their wings were injured because for ~2days after we crossed paths they didn’t fly away. We gave them some flowers and fruit to chill with and we slowly watch them walk around more, climbing up and down our kitchen utensils but still not flying. On day 2 they started flapping their wings. On the 3rd evening of the trip we noticed they had finally flown away.

That’s a Rain City Skills Objet D’art, it came with a bunch of inserts to adjust the weight of it. I don’t know if any retailers still have any available but it’s a nice cw if you can find one!

The plants are going off this year! I measured a 28”x9” leaf on that big billietiae recently! thanks!
