I think We have documented all of the individual throws, and there are a couple of “unofficial” ones, In particular the RecRev Carbon at the top Right, the one off Toxic HazMat next to that one, and the one off Square Wheels Rex…In the second photo, it’s just all the same ones with the “one of these things is not like the other” “official” YYE RecRev #9, one of the red headed step children that doesn’t fit in with the RED/BLACK/SILVER theme… ;D

Wow Chuck, you are not missing very many, and you have a few exclusives too. I’m still wondering if we should add the one offs to the official list, just so people know what exists. Also, I forgot to add the Spin Dynamics Smooth Move, which is a one off. We’ll have to find out who wins that and harass them. You are still after the Avalanche, but I don’t think you are missing any others. I have the gold Cascade, but I removed it from my case, it just bothers me that it does not match the others. I keep it in my case with the One Drop stuff though. I’m waiting for the next big YYE sale to get that Gelada and Drop Bear. I’m just waiting to get a deal on a big purchase, and they are not moving that fast, so I’m trying to time it. I only have a few slots left in my case, so I’ll need a bigger one pretty soon.
That photo is sick. I think you should modify your first post in the thread, the one on the first page, and update the new photo as I did. People will come in the thread and see that on the first page… :o
I updated my first post, great idea! I wanted to share this pic of the Rec Rev #9, which is really off our theme, but was in fact an official YYE Edition, and not a “special edition only available on YYE” that we have talked about before, and then a better pic of the SPYY Ed Haponik Splash Edition that started this whole thing for me. Other people have named their favorites,I have to go with the 10 YOYO drop Bear (pictured below) as mine so far, for both playing and looks. It is just such a nice yo-yo! I got it on the same day ( Valentine’s Day!) as the Berserker, which I think coincidentally, has become my second favorite in both the playing and looks department too… I had such deep reservations about a $180 yo-yo, but it is beautiful, and really plays incredibly, worth every penny! Well Chuck, it looks like only the Avalanche and Macrocosm and you will be caught up. I’m after the Drop Bear and Gelada, but the stock is good enough that I’m holding out for a sale of some sort. I’m not going to seek out any more with the gold color in it, only the ones with the true color scheme. It looks like One Drop has made the most YoyoExpert Edition yo-yos. We will see if that changes in the future.
Well…look what we have here Chuck. It has appeared, the Yoyofactory 2.0, the one that was available at Cal States. I’m on the opposite coast, so I wasn’t there. So glad I still have an opportunity to snag one of these. I wish it had a little black in it, but it is cool looking anyway. 54 came today, not really “disappointed” with the colorway, in fact this one looks just as close to my “vision” so far as any of them, but I got jived on the black splash a little on one side, and you got too much silver for your taste…
Oh My gosh, they definitely did not have that YYE Logo 2.0 at Cal States, or I would have gotten us BOTH one… If it had that YYE logo on the other side, I never got to turn it around cause I spied the Yelets…AWESOME!! I can’t wait to get one! that looks GREAT!!!
^ Very, very interesting splash on the 54. You have one half that is very nice. The second half is a bit naked, like my 54…lots of red, but it’s always nice to at least have one great side to show off in the case and photos.
On the 2.0, I wish they at least had the text in black, so all three colors appear. But, having the logo on it sort of makes up for that one. I can’t wait to get it. It looks like a true YYE Edition with that logo on it.
Sort of worked out that you didn’t buy that one at Cal States, because you have some leftover fun, with something new to wait for now. I like the price on that one too, and plenty in stock.
Just thought I’d point out that there is a one off of a Spin Dynamics Smooth Move, which is a YoyoExpert Special Edition splash. It is not a Yoyoexpert edition, but a special edition. It has the Yoyoexpert colors. There is still an opportunity to win this yo-yo, and it appears there is a 1 in 5 chance to win. You have a chance to win, when you by a Spin Dynamics Monkeyfist. I already have two Monkeyfists, so I can’t buy another one. The nickel and dynamic editions were not released when the promotion started, so my guess is that the winning knot is in one of the boxes for the solid colors that are left. So I noticed André had just “liked” my posting of this picture a few seconds before on Facebook… so I asked him about it directly… sigh… I guess we should take it off the list. It is okay, cause it is still one of my favorites, I reaaaaalllly like this yo-yo a LOT!
André…Was this red Mutant DNA considered a YYE edition? I have heard from a couple of people that it was?

Hmmm…well, we have it listed in the “unofficial” section, indicating we still like that yo-yo. But, it’s great to know the story behind some of these. It would be nice to interview Andre specifically about these YYE Editions, why some have gold in them, if he orders them special or if it’s the yo-yo company’s idea, and whether he has any favorites. I think it is a great way to promote his store, with all these YYE logos on throws. I’m thinking I should get my case in order, because I’d like him to sign my case. But, I’m starting to outgrow the current case that holds 21 throws. Before I have him sign, I should upgrade my case, but at the rate my collection is going, I will eventually have multiple cases anyway. Not sure what I will do right now. It looks like you are outgrowing your large case already too :-\
Well Chuck, I received my YoyoExpert Edition, Yoyofactory 2.0 in the mail yesterday. I am shocked at how good it plays. I guess the shock is partially due to my low expectations because of the price tag of $50. Wow, I was really surprised, it is a smooth and stable little yo-yo. I got a chance to take a few of my catalog photos today. It looks great. I am very happy with this one:
Well Chuck, I keep forgetting to check my box for the cards you sent. But, I will check tomorrow, cause I was off work today. Check this one out. We just have to add it to the list. I took advantage of that YYF deal, 2 yo-yos SuperG and Gfunk for $60. It was a steal, and I was shocked that they were offering our colors too. Many of these yo-yos are not official “Yoyoexpert Edition” but the term “YoyoExpert Colorway” is floating about on the BST. Therefore, there are official YoyoExpert Editions and then there are YoyoExpert Colorways. This, clearly is a YoyoExpert Colorway. That’s what I’ll call it from now on. It’s such a cutie:

I agree! They are making them just for the club Okay, so now, I decided to solve my dilemma. I’m making a custom case just for the YoyoExpert Editions. It will hold about 40 yo-yos. I am outgrowing the case that holds 21 that I was using. I already received the case, which has three locks, and came with 2 keys. I already destroyed the insides of the case, so that it will hold the foam. Now, I’m working on finding the right foam for the project. I will keep you posted on this, but plan to have it done within a week. I plan to use some of these “YYE Colorway” throws as place holders in the new case until new official ones are made. I am hoping to grow out of this case, and into a second one
I’ll have to see what you think of this one. It is the same colors as my GFunk. This one has more and bigger “smears” on it as far as the anodizing is concerned. It sort of gives it character though. I’m not sure what you would technically call those “smears,” :-\ Here is a look at both sides. No doubt, it is a YYE “colorway.”
