I think there are some neat things going on in the hub. Manufacturers seem to be putting a lot of thought into what happens there, or not. So, in light of that, I have been working on some photographs with exclusive cup shots. They give me chills, so I hope it has the same affect on you! Post them up!
Great thread TA! Awesome pictures, and I hope to see some great shots from you as well, Snafu. I’m a tad short on time, and wasn’t able to pull out my DSLR, so these were the best I could do. Definitely not up to par with your guys’ awesome pictures, that’s for sure!
I decided to grab my 2 favorite throws: the Code 1 and Ministar, and then throw in The Yeti, just because I found the hub design very interesting.
You guys surprised me, I came in here after some hours to find some nice shots…really cool. I took a photo of that Spin Dynamics Smooth Move. I wanted to show off the feature with the logo on it, and in order to really show it, I had to zoom in. I was so fascinated, that I wanted to see other throws in that light. I’ve been taking these cup type shots ever since.
So, I have to ask you guys, because I have always wanted to know. A spike is a spike, although it comes in varying shapes and sizes, but what do you call that little belly button looking thing that sticks out, when it’s not a spike? Like on a Chief. I’ve heard B!st on Youtube call one like that Oxy io, a “nipple.” So, what do we call them? Like this Exit 8 for example :-\
