Agreed, but how young is too young to be left in a car, within view, and how far? At some point there has to be a turning point where the kids are no longer a reason to not return the cart.

My (Jesuit) university used to have a Golden Rule Week, where they posed signs with versions of the rule from many different faiths and philosophies. It was a nice unifying gesture.
