It is comfy! The surface finish is also really interesting. I asked the shop for different surface finishes and they suggested tumbling with walnut shells. They actually had to strip and redo the ano 4 or 5 times before they found the right grit and speed. I have a video of them tumbling them that I found hilarious I’m gonna post later.

B bearings are so cool I love the wild idea on this whole project. You left out d bearings obviously they don’t fit in the comparison anyway. I truely can’t wait to eventually experience the b bearings unresponsive it’s got to be like a wide mr85 but maybe better?

It’s not as wide as the wide MR85 it’s almost like an unresponsive A bearing if you have played one of those. Except the response is more reliable because of this big ol brake pads.
I did forget D bearings haha I haven’t made one of those yet so I didn’t have a bunch on hand.

That B is an instant want for me. I don’t even need a modded one… I already have shortened Side Effects from other things. 
That’s genius though. The B bearing is the obvious bridge between C posts and A response. You are mad.

Very Cool. I just ordered some B bearings. I needed a new one for my SuperYo Renegade. They use B bearings. Also all the Magic Yoyo and Chinese hubstack yoyos use B bearings for the stacks. I never even thought about B bearings having the same inner Dia as C bearings. Thats good to know and gives me some ideas.

Question wouldn’t cork break down faster then silicone? I saw some other yoyos using cork. But I got to thinking wouldn’t cork have to be replaced more often

Yes! Cork pads do have a tendency to wear down faster. Part of why I had silicone ones made!
The other reason I had silicone ones made is the only supplier of cork pads is out here posting transphobic hate comments on their company social media and has had an entire series of other hate related controversies and I’m sure not giving them money. I wanted to provide a source for people to get new response pads for their classic throws without supporting hate. I’ve confirmed these fit and play well in the Grind Machine and other classics and listed them for sale on my site.
