It’s accidentally been smacked for every event the YYBC has hosted over the last three years, haha. It certainly despises yoyos. That company certainly has a quality product though, lol!

It has also been modified into a thinner walled titanium version called Demons Fun after the iconic Dr Who episode.

Picked up this yoyo and it’s great! Stalls so easily.

I did a search for this Dr. Who episode and I can’t find it. 3 episode titles with “Daemon” or “Demon” according to Wikipedia. I’ve seen only a few episodes with Eccleston (and can’t recall much) so unfamiliar with but curious about it.

Season 6, Episode 7, the episode is Demons Run. I changed this it slightly to avoid IP complaints.

Make sure to grunge the string up as the patina forms :joy:

That is a magical looking combination

Just a side note but Phosphor Bronze is on my bucket list of materials I want to make a yoyo out of.

I’d be 100% down for that.

I had a really crazy idea. Possibly the craziest yo-yo idea I’ve ever made a reality… so far. Yes, including that one.

I’ll make a video explaining this creation and how it works in more detail tomorrow.

It uses Side Effects but that’s a small bearing and Brake Pads. Not a C bearing. It had a few bumps, namely right now it doesn’t fit Side Effects proper, it needs an axle that is a little shorter so you have to knock out the loctite and replace the axle or sacrifice the female half from two pairs of SEs and use a shorter axle. I need to alter the design by like half a mm before I make a v2 to fix that.

I even had some dry B bearings made and it plays unresponsive too, but that’s not really its purpose.

DAMN! This is sexy. :star_struck:

Edit: It’s nice to see a High-V design out there. Totally an underutilized 0A shape in my opinion. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::wink:
