The Joyride was the first yo-yo Recess came out with when they started as a company. They’ve learned a lot since those early days and felt they could give the yo-yo that started it all a little updating! This is the new and improved Joyride!
Recess wanted to keep the soul of the original Joyride while updating the design for optimal performance. They did away with the rounded h-shape profile of the original and went with a full organic design for the new model. It has a comfortable old school feel in the hand, but the bumped out response gap noticeably improves performance through more complex and off-plane tricks.
