I’m sad for his family and it’s tragic for h that he had to fight a long battle like that and lose but at the same time I don’t find the guy a hero or someone to venerate. A literal con man turned around and started selling how to stop the cons.

Totally agree. I posted primarily because what he did kind of set a milestone in the whole saga of hacking. I follow hacker and spy stories like this having been in IT and security related situations.
