Profile-Avatar? Too large?

Hope others have the same problem?

Have been trying to insert a picture in my profile and can’t seem to download a pic because my avatar is too big. or thr url is too large.
I tried to use my photo collection (my pictures)
Do I need to download a pic on the web first? then use its url? Which web site should I go to?

You need to downsize your image before you try and upload it. You can either do it on Paint or whatever other image editing software you’re comfortable with, or upload it to a site like flickr or Photobucket and resize it there. I believe 125x125 is a good resolution for avatars on this site.
