How do you change your profile picture?

Every time I try to change it I get a little message that says that my picture is either too big or not an avatar. Please help! Thanks.

Well I go and put it on photobucket and then I adjust the size there. There might be a better way but that’s how I do it.

I googled “turning photos into an avatar”

Found a site that converted my pic to an avatar and used that.
