Out of the box, I loved the UpperCut. I really enjoyed it. I was happy with the KO, but thought it was OK.

Then I tried the Ka-Pow string. Love the KO with the Ka-Pow. It is now my go to regular.

Now the UpperCut. I am hoping it is just subconscious, but I feel off with it now. I didn’t like it with the Ka-Pow, went back to the string it came with, and then to the Kitty String I have. Even cycling thru back to Ka-POW I don’t feel the same I first did with it.

I’m waiting for the right Yo-Yo drop to get that Stringlab sample pack with it. To see if I’m having that Spike Lee moment “Gotta be the String” with my UpperCut.

Loving the KO! It has been my go to yoyo since it arrived last week.
The gap is a bit narrower than I am used to, but overall I love it.
I got a YYF Peregrine at almost the same time. Obviously it plays very well, but I seem to prefer the rounder edges of the KO.
I haven’t played the Uppercut that much, because I haven’t put the KO down.

Uppercut for me. Like the KO but play it much less although I think it was great they included 2 really different playing yoyo’s in Mystery Box.
