Yes. and DONT leave a pokemon with it in your party when you save because when you resume later, it will be cured.

Your Pokemon must be using Protect!
nope… i find that to be one of the most useless moves in most situations
I would never make an allusion of the move “Protect” referencing actual protection stopping transmitted diseases, or in the Pokemon world, “Pokerus”

I’m a lil’ rusty, but Pokerus is just a chance thing, from what I remember. If you get it, put the Pokerus poke on in your boxes, because it spreads that way. It’s really useful, though.
