Pocket Sized Throws

Would you recommend the Ditch or the Snack? Looking for a fun EDC yoyo.

Out of these two I’d say the Snack. The Ditch is a nice pocketable throw as well (although I’d prefer the Campfire over the Ditch because of its overall better performance in my opinion) the Snack is way easier to handle because of the wider more flared out gap which for me personally would be the winning argument in terms of a chill edc throw. If you are open to other suggestions when it comes to a nice pocketable throw from Recess I’d highly recommend their Little League if you can get your hands on one…

It’s even more pocketable and way more fun than the Snack in my humble opinion.

the real question here is do you like slimlines or do you just want a small yoyo? the ditch/dingo is super pocketable because it’s thin and wont bulge your pants out as much but its still gonna feel like a coin on the string compared to the snack.
disclaimer: i dont really like the snack and keep a ditch in my pocket at all times.

RCS Mobile Gamer is a good one. More like micro but check it out! I think some one is selling one here.

I’ve always wanted a Little League. Between the Snack and Little League, which would you say is more performance oriented?

Same little league I keep forgetting exists

I have a Busker in the mail, looks like it may arrive Monday, and a trade in the works for a minitee.

I really really really love my 66% 888, for sure my favorite pocket throw so far.

Regular 888 could also be a pocket throw, is smol and rounded.

G2 decade actually has a fairly similar overall shape tbh, I was just looking at this today, put them next to each other and had a “well would you look at that” moment. They don’t play the same tho, weight distribution among other things are much different. Both are fantastic imo.

One Drop Y- Factory is also similarly sized, and plays closer to an 888 but is also itself different. They don’t pop up too frequently, either.

I would consider a Panorama a pocket throw as I carry it every day in my pocket

ShellYoyo Macaron is fun, but a bit unforgiving at times with stability.

Duncan Butterfly is GOAT

UpDn Orange for your JNCOs

If you’re a fan of Recess throws specifically, I’ve really enjoyed the Firecracker. Not so small that it’s a mini, but undersized/slim enough that it disappears in your pocket. Tons of fun to play with, especially if you want to EDC an unresponsive slimline

I’ve got a cu yo-yo that I’m selling that is amazing if you’re interested. You can carry it easily in your pocket bag etc

Big fan of the Slappa if you can find one.
Super lightweight but with a lot of stability and power for its specs. I think one of the best slimline type yoyo that doesn’t sacrifice much on performance while still being very fun and pocketable.

Between these two, the Snack. Ditch is almost novelty

If your open to recommendations, the One Drop M2 is mind blowing and fits great in a pocket

I think the Swan is a great pocket sized throw! Great for technical tricks. I have one for sale if you’re interested.

I do think the firecracker shines with a greased up flat bearing. Its such a fun and capable responsive 1a yoyo!
Or maybe i just like not missing my binds :joy:

I’d say the Snack is more performance oriented out of these two. But that being said the Little League has - for what it is (undersized monometal organic) - plenty of spin power and stability to thoroughly enjoying it when put through the paces. It’s more evenly balanced than the Snack. The Snack feels a bit more rim weighted and therefore more thuddy (I don’t think that’s a word but I think you get what I mean :upside_down_face:). I do enjoy the Little Leauge more because of its balance, feel in the hand and aesthetics while I never felt that it’s anemic in some way or another. But if performance would be the only aspect I’d say the Snack has a tad more of that in it.
