Interesting to see the mix of fixies and bearings. Never had to ask myself if I’d throw bearings near sand or saltwater.
Will this create a divide that tears our community apart? Or inspire some new DIY / Survivalist hybrid? Curious what Doc thinks of our responses

That DIY looks pretty fun, though it definitely doesn’t look like it’s 58mm!
If I were stranded on a desert island, I’d bring:
- CLYW Alpine. I could spark it to make a fire
- eH. The wood + cotton string would be great emergency fire starter material. Also could be used as a fixed axle yoyo (variety)
- 2nd run Peak to make all the other strandees jealous I have an old Peak.
