Plastic day tripper?

Is there a plastic equivalent to the day tripper. I’m looking for a good slimline responsive plastic yo-yo with bearing and response stickers that is available.

Maybe the Sage with a half spec is about as close as I can think.

There have been people modding Duncan Pro-Zs with recessed CoreCo Pads. However, the Pro-Z starburst actually works rather well, this yoyo inspired the TMBR/ Zipline Wood-Z. Also another good plastic that just needs to be double looped for OA play is the classic YoYoJam Dragon Jam, it has an awesome profile.

I over look this one all the time in my collection, and I was staring right at it. I was initially using it for 5.0A when it first came out and have the rain drop counterweight, but it plays great either way you string it up. There was a restock a while back I believe.

The Pop Art is a great example and there are some died B-Grades in the shop right now (I have one and its awesome).

The other equivalent is the Duncan Pro Z, which is basically the same exact size. Grease up the bearing and the starburst should do it. I had mine modded with recessed core co pads, and they were too recessed and response has been slippy but I havent tried the stock yet lol.

I want to second the Thing recommendation. Very good yo-yo for modern responsive.

I didn’t realize they still had some Pop Arts in stock. I’m really hoping we make more next year, but $45 for a b-grade seems like a good deal.

It was a great deal. No issues at all with mine
