The YoYoFriends Peregrine is back at YoYoExpert in two stunning new colors: Granite Blue with Brass rings and a striking orange/green/silver/yellow acid wash!
Designed for peak competition performance, the Peregrine is inspired by one of the most powerful birds of prey. With input from the entire YoYoFriends team, it boasts a wide catch zone, stainless steel outer rings, and a 7068 aluminum body for optimal weight distribution, delivering exceptional speed, acceleration, and maneuverability.
The story of the Peregrine X begins with the original Peregrine, a competition yo-yo conceptualized by YoYoFriends in 2018 to follow up the Hummingbird. By 2020, the Peregrine was realized with a design focused on stability, acceleration, and speed.
In 2023, YoYoFriends revised the design for more power and control, adding weight to the rims but finding it lacked the originalâs burst of acceleration. Observing trends toward wider yo-yos, YoYoFriends increased the Peregrineâs width and adjusted the weight distribution. The resulting Peregrine X combines power, control, stability, and catchability without sacrificing speed. Inspired by the Beyblade X series, the Peregrine X is YoYoFriendsâ newest bi-metal flagship.
A bird trickâŚ. What the hell is a bird trickâŚ. Ohh anyone who worked out lunar landings during FAF, MRM or even 2April should have this âaka bird in handâ
I have no affiliation with yye but I would count it. The standing on one leg is very reminiscent of the crane kick from the 1984 American martial arts drama, Karate Kid.
Hot damn, those look nice. I actually regret the color choice of my Peregrine, I donât know what I was thinking when I bought it. Appearance really is a big part of choosing what yoyo I want to grab. I really love the look of these. Iâm not good enough to submit a video but Iâll enjoy watching them. Good job on the color ways on this one Yoyo Friends, Iâll probably end up with one soon enough.
I found a cool trick on CLYWâs youtube channel called Paper Crane and learned it to enter this giveaway lol. Thanks for making me dig for bird related tricks because the one I found I am really into.
I didnât catch it super clean after the bind but this was really decent for a first take so I am keeping it
