Can someone tell me what original throw string is like only strings i so far have been using kitty fat first class and markmont cumulus foam and am thinking of trying out original throw
I like the whippyness of cumulus foam but hate how it doesn’t hold its tension but on the other hand kitty fat holds its tension fine but i would like it to to be a little more quick through the air also kitty string doesnt last long so im thinking original throw may be a middle ground like a sweet spot

I personally think OTS feels very similar to kitty. I don’t know if I could tell the difference between the two unless played directly back to back.
The best inbetween for the two you’ve mentioned that I’ve tried is Slackies. They have the whip and tight wound feel of a markmont string, but are made with all purpose poly instead of trilobial which is like kitty. They hold tension fine, or well, I don’t have any issues.

I don’t think you could go wrong with original throw strings, they’re the cheapest strings out there and they hold tension better than Kitty string. They might not be the whippiest string since they are made of polyester, but I think they do well enough. It’s bulk string though so it also doesn’t last very long.
