For an EDC I would recommend the Mk1 Tangent. It’s Delrin/POM so it can bounce off things and you don’t have to worry about scratches to ano from keys or other objects in a pocket or bag. It is also at a good price point and they are available. I really like this Yo-Yo and it was my vote for the plastic of the year 2024. It feels chunky but its plays relatively light and bouncy.

My CLYW Beater rocks, highly recommended. Very stable and powerful, easily moveable. They did a great job with it, as long as you don’t care about finger spins lol. So much fun to play, and it’s 7075, so it’ll live up to its name.
A bit wide for a pocket carry however. If I had to fire sale everything, it’d probably be the one I’d keep.
That said, my Pano stays on this bloop and goes pretty much everywhere with me, tucked into my back pocket typically

Misfit air is my favorite yoyo, its super zippy but also has a lot of power
Sense next journey is also really good as its very controllable and much cheaper

Debating on getting a ZERO, mind letting me know how it plays? Love the look and love orangics lol
out of all those yoyos I think the ZERO stands apart as being the most old school, it’s directly inspired by the anti-yo ywet and does a good job at emulating that feel while being a bit more up to date
this does make it a bit more punishing to use than some of the others I mentioned, but for some people that’s exactly what they want!

+1 for the Next Journey… Maybe not as “traditional” of an organic as the more 0 shaped models, but it’s a great throw, aesthetically and performance wise. Especially for the price they are available for, it’s an absolute steal. IMO SENSE is one of the most interesting newer brands out there, they have a very interesting aesthetic vision that is fully realized with each release that I’ve seen, definitely pushing the boundaries of “yoyos as art” compared to most other brands these days.
