One more throw

I’m looking to get one more throw, this will be the last one for a while. I want to know if there is something out there I shouldn’t pass up. I looking to keep it around 100.00 less.

Any recommendations and why would be greatly appreciated.

Here is what I have

anything by Atmos. if you can go to $115 you could get the Noah so you can use your OD side effects with it. or go for the none SE version for $85

The Final Creep is one that I was looking at.

Mowl Surveillance. Everyone needs a good H-shape once in a while.

If you liked the Aitch, you’ll love the Mowl Surveillance.

I’ve gotten about 5 high end yo-yos since getting the final creep but still go back to play the creep the most

… just one more, all I need is just one more, that’s all, honestly …

I keep looking at the creep as well, lately I’ve been drawn to organics.

That’s how I’ve gotten here. YoYo anonymous said I needed to start a 12 step program. I thought that meant 12 more throws, guess I was wrong

OD Fat Tire doesn’t get a lot of attention on here, but I can attest it as a fun and unique feeling throw. The other, about $20 over your budget, is the CLYW Sasquatch 2022: it’s big, floaty, very fun. Probably going to order another Sasquatch as a back up.

CLYW Beater

I think the CLYW Beater is a much better buy than the final Creep run if you’re looking for an unresponsive.

Based on your interest in responsives, you might enjoy a fixie from one of our homegrown woodworkers - @RC_yo-yo , @vegabomb , @Glenacius_K , and @Eric_Newlin all make very pretty stuff that people seem to love.

What is it about the beater that you feel makes it better? Very similar specs.

I would love to get a spinworthy blood cell.

Out of my budget for now.

I think the Beater is more unique: it’s the only organic on the market (that I am aware of) with a double rim, it has an uncharacteristically wide profile, and it weighs in at about 1-2g heavier than your bog standard modern organic. It’s also 7075 aluminum and comes with a counterweight. The Beater and Panorama are my most used yoyos at present, I always have a hard time putting it down in favor of anything else.

This Creep release is very nice looking, but I get the feeling that it was targeting people who already owned and loved the Creep. Paying $100 for a 6061 yoyo with no particularly outstanding design features left a bad taste in my mouth - I’d recommend finding a used one or a b grade if you want to test the waters.

Just to be clear, the Creep is not a bad yoyo by any means and I’m sure there are yoyos I love that borrowed from its design.
