Cooper Coat is just so messy though.
Very true.
Sounds good to me.
But at those limited quantities, I may shoot for one rather than getting hung up trying to juggle four SKUs going out of stock while still in the cart.
Are there any pictures of these in yoyos yet? I can’t visualize in my head if kisses/orbs are going to look cool or just very goofy.
the kisses look super dope, probably going to be the ones i go after
Yeah I think the kisses look cool enough on their own but I’m not sure if they would actually look cool in anything.
Yeah kisses I feel like are probably gonna be pretty safe? They’re just a spike variation… orbs though… it could really go either way. Micro and normal spikes are guaranteed to look clean though.
orbs are definitely more of a unique shape and could look funky lol. hoping to get microcaps and kisses if i can get both
Copper Cote my not be the right compound for this. In carbon steel to carbon steel, its amazing. But use it in a Stainless Steel to Carbon Steel applications and thing go from bad to worse quick.
Nickle Cote is great for Stainless to Carbon steel.
Not sure which base product will protect with Titanium vs other metals.
The V4M lube may be all that is needed for a barrior between the dissimilar metals, not to exchange ions.
I’d like to see Orbs in a Pomodoro
that would probably look sick with the flush SE hub.
the more i think on it, orbs in my Burger would be sick lol
I have used copper and nickel on Ti and stainless, but it is always wise to review the recommendation on any specific product (e.g. Loctite C5A claims to be safe for stainless). Operating conditions are also a factor, and I suspect these are relatively light when it comes to yo-yos.
I think you are probably correct that V4M is sufficient. On a $300 Ti yo-yo, I won’t mind a little fussing around with a more robust product.
Does anyone know where I can see this yoyo?
Some cool stuff on Brian Fellhoelter’s site/socials, but I haven’t found a yo-yo. Maybe it’s still in the works(?)
Don’t think it’s been announced yet.
Gold and Orange Micro Caps are available.
Still waiting on some blue…
