Hipsters are into fancy strings that last decades and are made with the weirdest mixes of nylon and angel hair. I think we (people who are into fixies) are more like hippies. We smell like wood.
And that is if you’re into flats. Some (I’d even say all) ODs feel equally as good with a nice centering bearing if that’s your jam.

Yeah, I didn’t get that. It looks like he posted in a thread vacated for 24 days to ask why it was active? Was there possibly a post right before his that got deleted or something?
There was one posted 2 days after the reply before Mark’s that I deleted. That one was 22 days prior to Mark’s, if that makes sense lol.
