I have a p2 yfactor 54 and a wooly mark mont and a dang . The dang quickly became one of my favorite onedrops and with the side effects you can take it from fast floaty to tank in flash. I prefer full sized throws and this is one of my favorites.
I have all of these. Out of the 3, the DANG is my favorite. It looks funny, but it’s comfortable, stable, and fun. I prefer it a little heavier than how it comes stock, but that’s just me. It can play slow and fast. As for comparisons…maybe the Bassline, but a little lighter and more stable?
I like the Dietz, but it’s fast. I would say that it definitely feels like it was made for someone more skilled than me. But if you want an undersized yoyo with side effects…well, then you get a Dietz. I actually like using the Dietz with the RSMs.
The Code1, I don’t use very much (at all really) since I got the DANG. I prefer the DANG in pretty much every way. It’s a fine yoyo, but I ended up giving it to my kids so that it would get some use.
If you’re wanting the one of the 3 that’s most similar to the 54, I guess I would say the DANG (I really like the 54 too).
Just wanted to say I got both a Code1 and a Dietz - love both of them! The Dietz is my first small (undersized) throw - speedy little guy… I can’t get over how the Code1 just goes where you want it. I’ve only used plastic (or DM2) up to now - I really feel both of these throws will do nothing but improve my skills (or lack thereof)… to be honest, they are making me feel spoiled.
Also love the bearings (10ball) - can’t believe how smooth and quiet they are…
Love the Side Effects!
If you haven’t figured it out yet - love these throws - I’m a One Drop fan for life!
