A version of this gets asked fairly frequently. Offset yo-yos are of good quality from what I hear, but part of the fun of YoYo is the collecting and part of the collecting is spreading out! Hang around a while and you will see some stuff that you “must have”, browsing BST for example. People post some unbelievably cool yo-yos that I’ve never heard of, and you can get some great deals second hand.
But remember: a good yoyo won’t make you a good player. It’s a tool, you gotta build the skill with practice. Practice can be frustrating but rewarding. The breakthrough moments when you finally get that one part of that one trick to finally know how to do it completely through is better than any new YoYo day
I haven’t used the offset yo-yos you’ve listed but they are great quality and perform well. That said they are mainly competition based. The outlier mini and shutter mini are more of a competition trainer. I would stick with there cheat code or ascent line geared for beginners and I believe they come with a responsive bearing as well(the plastic cheat code did). Get the basics down and figure out what you like in yo-yos while learning more and more. As far as offstring yo-yos go, contrail is good, as well as yyf flight. Keep in mind while learning offstring the yo-yos will take a lot of abuse so cheaper is better.
Since you’re starting, I’d recommend only getting one or two plastics to start with. A responsive to learn the basics and an unresponsive one for when you progress a bit. Ascent is ok for this but tbh the shape seems rather extreme/uncomfortable to be. I’d recommend a Duncan Freehand for your responsive and a C3 Speedaholic XX or YYFr Rio for your unresponsive (they also have a finger spin dimple if you want to learn DNA).
As a beginner you will likely smash your yo-yo into the ground a lot, so I would avoid fancy, expensive yoyos for now as they’ll just get damaged. By the time you’re ready for a performance metal yo-yo and expanding your connection further, you’ll also probably have a better idea of what brands/types of yo-yo you want to try.
I personally started with the Arrow by YoyoFactory, as it can be upgraded to unresponsive as you progress through more difficult tricks. Then, for my first metal yoyo, I got the Normal Shutter which was really fun but there are newer models which might interest you more.
