I’m not really concerned with anything that happens for the voting but I do have a solution to your concern. There could just be a rule that people have had to already be signed up by the date of the deadline so no new accounts can be created to vote…

It’s a fair concern, even if it is a lot of work for someone to go to for the sake of $50.
I have a few options to address this, so it won’t be an issue. I’ve posted a poll here to test something out, so if you could vote on it that’d be great:

Nope, everyone on here will be able to get involved and vote. I’m tempted to throw in a raffle kind of thing for voters as well, just to encourage everyone to watch all the videos. ;D
Yep, I am also judging. I know I don’t have the credentials of the other judges, but I’ve thrown myself in there anyway just because I can.

I’m only waiting one 2 more judges, both of whom I know are currently on the ball.
I’m glad that this thread is so full of anticipation. I’ll be honest, when I posted this contest I had visions of about 3 people entering and then it disappearing onto the second page not to be heard from again till the results. I am more than happy with how this has all turned out.

Standard fight to the death. Yoyos only. ILYY Noctu not allowed due to being over-powered.
We’ll cross that bridge if it comes to it. The voting system makes it fairly unlikely though.

We might as well forgo the whole judging process and instead have a hunger games style fight.

I was also talking about the judging process. The example you gave for 2 judges would be a problem, yes, but bear in mind we have 9 judges with a very subjective means of judging, so the chances are fairly remote that we’ll hit a tie on the top 2 places. Even if every judge voted as you mentioned above, due to the fact we have an odd member of judges, we still wouldn’t reach a tie.
It is possible, but unlikely. I’ll cross that bridge if it comes to it.

When People should realize Gambit came up with the contest and is giving the prize money from out of his own pocket… Gambit made the contest, then enlisted the help of YYE and the chosen judges to help him out. Did anyone actually take the time to watch Gambits video… I’m not trying to be rude here or anything. But its a bit ridiculous when people think everyone is made of money that they are willing to just give away… This contest would not be happening if it wasn’t for Gambit in the first place. He deserves a lot of respect for even doing this. As well as Andre and the judges who have to take time out of their day to watch all our videos and do the hard choice of picking which they like best…
There’s no way of confirming this without coming across all flash (which is why I never mentioned it implicitly) but just to clear things up and move on, Colby is indeed correct. However, the point of this contest was to bring some excitement and/or new members to the forums, and Andre has been very good to me over the years, as well as helped me out with the judging and rules, so (with his permission) to show my appreciation I put the YYE stamp on it and made the prizes gift vouchers rather than cash.
Plus, let’s face it… having Andre introduce the contest got your attention didn’t it. Having the contest “Official” was definitely better for drumming up interest, as well as convincing such high-rolling members of the community to help me judge. 
It’s all good man, no offense taken at all over here, but thank you very much for the kind words! You’re a gentleman.
It’s been good fun getting this all going. Considering how well this contest has gone, it definitely won’t be the last.
Now that’s all out the way, let us get back to the anticipation!
