Odd question: Do you guys ever sweat when you yoyo intensely?

If your NOT sweating your doing it wrong.

Yes when it’s super hot out in the heat. M

hahaa ive done some crazy movements, id be good on stage.

Remind me not to stand behind you during preliminarys.

OMG IM NOT SWEATING IM DOING IT WROOOONNGGG!!! starts spining the yoyo in circles and running around the house breaking everything yay, im sweating now! And it only cost allof my moms finest china… Like a boss…

You live in the Philippines. Of course you’ll sweat waterfalls. I know that for the fact 'cause I’ve also lived most of my life there. I’m kinda glad I live the California life now and it’s much dry here. No sweating.

Anyway, personally I’m the kind of person who hardly breaks a sweat no matter how crazy the activites I partake. So no. Plus, I think it’s just kinda gross…how can one sweat on a hobby where you’re basically standing at one place? I understand if it’s performance art or something like 4A but anything else?

Kendama is a work out! All the pros recommend you bend your knees, so I have and I gotta say its all paying off! My gluteus are looking firm ::),… But my Kendama skills still suck.

im not the type of person to sweat easily. but i do get really heated up, also have a fan on nearby though.

Oh man, my legs always burn after a long session of kendama. It’s a good pain though…

I sweat when I’m practicing freestyle. But it’s mostly because I have faster style and lot of movement in it.

Yes. Especially recently, cause it’s been over 90 degrees here the last several days. Maybe I should use the YYF H.O.T. :stuck_out_tongue:

only with 4A.

never try kendama though…

I do when I go outside to practice offstring during the summer. Man it is getting hot down here in the South!

Anyway, in more relation to your question, 1A usually doesn’t make me sweat, but I can kinda heat up (and maybe sweat a LITTLE) when I yoyo more intensely (like lacerations, etc.).

Like everybody else is saying, kendama is definitely a workout. But I usually don’t play long enough to sweat or get sore or anything like that. Plus I probably don’t bend my knees enough sometimes.

I’ll get back to you on that. I’m moving to my new house today, in Arizona.

It’s only 110 in the summer. I’ll be fine.

I just have to get used to it, coming from a 60-70 degree area (much nicer IMO). But I’m sure ill get used to it and be back in cross country and everything. But yeah, I’m thinking of cutting two leg holes in an inflatable kiddie pool to walk around in for the first two weeks. I might need to take it easy on the yoyo for a bit.

I don’t sweat, but I sure curse a lot.
