OD Terrarian Bearing Question

This is my first OD and I love it! My question is, when I unscrew the yo-yo to take out an axel knot, I’ve noticed the bearing doesn’t sit tight in the bearing seat. What I mean is I could flip that side of the yo-yo upside down and the bearing could just fall out…I’ve only ever had bearings sit tightly into the seat of the yo-yo that I had to use a tool to take out. Should I be concerned?

I’ve also noticed that it’s playing a tiny bit responsive when doing some slack tricks. Should I try cleaning the bearing? Could these be related? Otherwise this throw plays great and I love it!

“Loose” bearing seat is normal for OD.

That’s a huge relief lmao Thanks!

As for response I have had some 10 balls come fairly lubed which gives them a bit of responsiveness here and there, usually works itself out ina few days. If not you could acetone it.

They take a lot of pride in the fact that they machine to tolerances such that the bearing comes right out, but stays tight in play.

It’s a beautiful concept! I’m a big fan of what they do! I’m looking forward to trying more ODs
