i think it would be a neat idea, but it looks like it could deform rather easily
I think it would be fine, just maybe a tad light, if the part about “15x lighter than plastics” is to be believed. Maybe if they could increase the density of it, it would work really well
This could be beneficial though. Make an ultralight body from this, slap on 2 tungsten weight rings and what you end up with is a yoyo thats pretty much entirely rim weight.
Imagine a ~64g plastic/hybrid that would out-spin high end bimetals… now we’re talking. Still, I’m sure the price tag would be obscene.
