The noma is the first release in atmos projects’ new Artist Edition line—where unique philosophies of legendary players are brought to life in collaborative design. For the debut, atmos teamed up with none other than Tsukasa Takatsu, father of the #thingsthatrepeat movement and one of the most influential creative forces in modern yo-yoing.

Tsukasa’s vision was clear: a featherweight organic yo-yo built for subtlety, finesse, and a floaty, cloud-like play feel. Working closely with atmos projects—and with the full blessing of One Drop, where Tsukasa is a long-time team member—the noma draws inspiration from many of his favorites, including the Noah, Wooly Marmot, 2007 888, A-rt Fern, and Yoyojam Hitman Pro. The final design is Side Effect–compatible and ships with ultra-light aluminum Side Effects, Tsukasa’s personal preference.

Despite its undersized profile, the noma offers impressive stability and spin thanks to careful weight distribution. At just 59.5 grams, it floats effortlessly on the string, sensitive to every movement and rewarding the cleanest execution. It feels less like a tool for speed and more like a natural extension of the string itself—a yo-yo that thrives in creative expression, repeaters, and tricks where control and precision matter most.
