I just got my new yoyofactory bullseye and after 2 hours of playing the bearing starts making weird noises once a while. And the worst thing is the string snags whenever the sound occurs. Can someone help me? I dont have any extra bearings and is not in condition to get a new one
sounds like you have some crud in there possibly. I take off at least one shield or both, put a drop of VM4 (one drop lube) and blow it out with air. Ive found I no longer need to use mineral spirits to clean first like I did in the past.

This is the way
Likely just needs bit of cleaning. What probably happened is a little bit of fiber or fuzz got into the bearing from your fresh string as it broke in.
Common fluids used for cleaning include isopropyl/ rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover/ acetone, lighter fluid, naphtha/ camping fuel, etc.
The acetone and petroleum based solvents will melt plastic, so be careful with those, and all will break down the adhesive of the response pads, so be sure it’s fully dry before re-installing the bearing.
All else fails, reach out to YoYoFactory and see if they could help you out with a replacement bearing, if cleaning is not an option for whatever reason.
Yep, most companies will send a replacement bearing for free if you let them know you got a faulty one. It’s not a guarantee however
