so what yoyo did you get

dm2 for now. I’m looking at getting a protostar after I learn binding.

Hmmm that’s like reversed. Normally people go protostar->dm2

You can use the 2nd bearing for unresponsive play. It came with the dm2

Yeah I will use the second bearing for unresponsive - I just like the protostar, so I plan to buy it. I also plan to get a Genesis at some point. I don’t want to have the protostar right now since it comes equipped with only a unresponsive bearing, doesn’t it?

Correct. Also, the protostar is a really nice yoyo. I do reccomend it. Genesis is nice too. However, dm2 can get through ANYTHING. Then again, some plastic=bad grinds. Eitherway, your choice.
