These are definitely hype videos, they are trying to get momentum off of the Fidget Spinner fad is my guess, trying to be the next big thing. Kinda like this Duncan yoyo hype commercial from the nineties.

I like what Andre says “Everything that’s going on looks like cats cradle.” That had to be from 10-15 years ago. That’s what most yoyo tricks look like to me. After awhile a majority of yoyo tricks are indiscernable from each other.
