And guys guys, you got to get over seeing a yoyoer who smokes as such a big deal.
If you get all upset about seeing John smoke, then don’t go to a yoyo contest, haha.
(Honestly, a large percentage of yoyoers smoke, at outdoor contest and outside contest hotels it seems like its a smoke fest sometimes) but don’t act all OMG RESPECT MINUS 10 to the guy, focus on his yoyoing, as for anyone. Its a yoyo vid, to show yoyoing, for yoyoers.

I smoke, deal with it, just because you don’t and you don’t approve of it doesn’t mean you get to tell others how to live. We smokers have had to go through enough crap due to the whiners who don’t smoke, if you don’t like smoke, then don’t be around, simple as that. Just because John Ando is smoking in his videos does not mean that he is promoting smoking to kids. I am sure he could care less whether you smoke or not. Pointing that out makes you a bag of walking fail. So what, people smoke, you can’t make them stop, so get over it.

The video was good though, I didn’t like the introduction, I felt that could have been at the end of the video. Other than that though, totally epic.

Icthus, please do not erase my post as I make a valid point to some extent here and its one easy answer. Yoyoing still is a toy, with that kids will watch this. Whether he is not promoting it or not, it is there while he throws and shows some sort of unprofessional appearence even if it “is just a video”.

Although Joshua said the large percentage of yoyoers that smoke, that is due to the whole entire community aging. Unfortunately I am not the type that will “get over it” because I do find it important to regulate things like this.

I love the atmosphere of the video matching with John Ando’s technical trick style. He does a lot of variability to all his techniques. Especailly loving that cross arm slack hop thing he does and other stuff.

Fair enough, I understand your point, and I want to make it clear that this is not trying to spark a flame war, simply because it isn’t what I try to do, and quite frankly Dan is not one to go along with that sort of forum trash. I will simply agree to disagree. I respect your words Zammy, don’t take that the wrong way, I just think that if a kid is that impressionable then someone messed up, and it isn’t the performer of the video, but that of the child’s guidance. Just my two cents.
