Need help with 3a trapeze

So I can land them one at a time, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to land both of them at the same time, how do u even practice without clanking them so hard together ? lol💀 do any of u guys have a tips ??? GIF of my attempt

It’s 3a they’re going to clank together. Throw them at the same time and your fingers aren’t pointed straight they are angled inwards / \ like this.

With 3a, you’re going to clank and damage them from improper technique and learning a new trick. For 3a trapezes, never angle them together like a straight line that’s how you clank them, practice the series of movement leading to the trapeze, and it’s a series of progression leading to the 3a trapeze, swing, from keychain, and from breakaway. I’m not good at explaining the trick, so here are some tutorial videos that I found useful to seeing how it is done.

Watch how it is done, you don’t have to understand what they’re saying

yea @GTDropKnot Henry’s navigating 3a tuts are great! on screen written instructions and i like that there are clear progression stages leading to the full trick

lmao yes ik they’ll clank together. all im saying is its hard to practice this trick at first, easily loose track of both yoyos. and ty!! this is a god send, feel like u really gotta dig to find these tutorials

Yeah main thing is pick one to go behind so they dont collide like one passes in front and one behind. Usually easier if that is the dominant hand yoyo at first. Then yeah do it as a progression starting with them just hanging and then swinging etc. Make sure to cut into the strings with indexes to pull the yoyos onto the string. Also fwiw I don’t angle my fingers at all I don’t think really.
