My trinity is complete!

These three yoyos were and are. My all time fav throws! The 888 got me into yoyos in high-school. And the YYN hard coat 888 was the fist metal I ever got, picked it up from a buddy with the original Buddha king lol.

Around then the bvm and peak were already out. I picked myself up a wolverine bvm1 still to this day one of the most gorgeous yoyos out there.

Then came the gnarwhal 1…. It blew me away, to me it was PERFECT. The bvm1 was already perfect to me but this some how was just a little more stable.

With that being said, newer throws may play better, I haven’t bought a modern yoyo since like 2019. But even with them playing better. Those older throws just had a different feel to them.

My fav thing about the 888 was hoe every year from 07 to 11 felt slightly different. With I’ll be honest 07/08 play amazing but my Jason lee.11 was the absolute peak for 888 playability, until the Ti888 was released. I regret selling that lol. :sleepy_face: but if we got onto that subject we’d be here forever.

Anyway long-winded entry to a single photo post :laughing:. Don’t get to chat yoyos much.

Also for what’s it worth. Bvm1 would just be green/black splash or is there any colorway name. :laughing: it’s going to gruntbull regardless just curious.

Well it’s about to be a 1 of 2 broken twill bvm in a few months :laughing:, appreciate the info! It’s gotten a lot of play in the last few day. Also found hubstack o rings in my old yoyo case! So that’s a win :laughing:

What are you supposed to do with them other then throw them? I will say back in the day when the collection was DEEP. I had a regular rotation. But some days it was fun to pull out a bunch that were vastly different in specs and see how they each differed in play style. Besides these 3, I have an old general yo, proto type 3yo3 grind King, and a handful of yoyos I got from higby through the years. We clicked at NER years ago and have been friends since.

I’m just trying to pick up some throws I loved when I was younger to have around. With that being said some of those throws are out of my tax bracket now :laughing:.
