Smooth tricks=fast tricks
When you are smooth and fluid with tricks all you need to do is play faster. When you try to play fast with tricks that aren’t smooth it won’t look fast.

Is you skip to 4 minutes into this video, this is the day I retired. I put on someone else’s shoes and used their board to try to warm up to skate a big rail (terrible idea as their stuff wasn’t setup like mine) when I went to California to film a big music video and almost broke my ankle. Haven’t skated since this day.

I am not a skilled enough player to give a performance review.
I agree with all the above comments. I wish Brandon could do more reviews, I also saw a great review, I forgot who, but it was exactly what you described as a good review.The review was an expansive review. The reviewer put a very nice Ti- throw through it’s paces and it made it through a horizontal combo 1 time with a barley bind, then took a mon- Ti nice throw of his own did the same trick combo horizontal 3 times with a monster tight bind at the end. That was the best review and it pulled no punches. Brandon reviews the same way in my opinion, if it vibes at all he says so, Brando knocks his own throws and collaborations when he does not like qualities about the throw. I agree with Cotton if you do a spec review that is fine, complement the feel, weight and the color way. a performance review is hard to come by do to skilled players to busy I am sure, and everyone else is trying to help the best way with the skill sets they have. I would be in that group.
