The MSG is back, and this time it’s wearing new colors. Turning Point’s MSG is the signature bimetal of Yuta Kashiwaya, the 2020 1A Japan National Champion.
At 70g, the MSG is heavy, large, and one of the heavier recent releases, with amazing control and a real presence on the string. It takes the opposite approach from the many new throws that go light and nimble, putting power and control first. Give yourself some time to get used to the weight and you can take full advantage of the power and stability it offers, which is a big part of why it works so well for both 1A and 3A.
