Uh my 5a Wu Shu style may have defeated it in combat. I don’t think it’s stripped but it has mad string vibe and doesn’t sleep super long.

Is the axle bent? Maybe the bearing got damaged

After further analysis, it seems like the axle might be slightly bent, it’s hard to tell but I think that could be it

Quick axle swap and you will be good, centripetal is build like a Casio G shock

I was lucky to snag a b-grade Positional and I can confirm that it’s absolutely a fantastic throw! Loving the performance play with the semi-organic comfort/feel to it. Might actually beat the Perpendicular in my opinion because it has a little more weighty feel behind it on the string.

Yeah this is designed to be a sister to accelerated, actually plays a little better than accelerated for sure.

If anyone is wondering how to remove the bearing shields I was able to pry them up from the inner race a bit using an exacto knife and bend them outwards, then use flush cutters as pliers and wrench them out. It felt wrong but was effective. The balls in a D bearing are very recessed compared to a C, so there isn’t much risk of damaging the internals of the bearing.

Nice! Good idea, I was able to get them with the pocket knife. Just jammed it in and the shield bent which let me get the knife under it completely and pry it off.

I am not sure exactly what I was expecting when I ordered this Positional. And when I got it and threw it for the first time it had a character that was slightly different from what I normally gravitate towards but definitely in a very good way. As days and weeks passed I have gotten to the point where this is the first one I grab… and it is STILL growing on me. That perfect split of comfort and performance just begs to be thrown. I may need another.

It’s my first Motion yoyo and I’m not just impressed by how it plays, but also the attention to detail with packaging, the boutique string included, and the premium machining and material of the yoyo itself (7068 is just better).
I genuinely have not been able to put it down.

Makes it possible to clean the bearing out properly. I like my bearings perfectly clean because it’s a bit quieter and less responsive than one with some dust.

I can’t say enough good things about the Positional, it has easily become a permanent fixture in my top 5 and is my favorite D bearing throw. Simply fantastic and highly recommend, as is anything by Motion.

Anyone have the positional and perpendicular can tell me how they throw next to each other. What’s the main differences to make them throw differently from each other

Perpendicular is a little lighter and more nimble as far as play is concerned, perpendicular plays with a bit more width in hand and has a more organic shape than positional. More pocket friendly in my opinion.
Positional plays more weighty with a bit more “heft to it” it will maintain a little less spintime than perpendicular but this is common on mono vs bi-metal yo-yos
Both play very nice and have very different characteristics, if you want lighter, more floaty, then grab a perpendicular, if you want something with a bit more heft on the string but still a nice organic feel and snappy spintime, grab a positional. Both were designed with fun in mind before “comp”

Jeramy hit that description right on the head. It’s as if he made them or something. 
As you throw your Perpendicular you’ll notice that it is quite stable and it feels dainty and nimble during tricks like a ballerina. You can land it in a trapeze and land it so soft you barely feel it. The other end of this spectrum is a very heavy feeling yo-yo that you always feel when it lands (rock on a string). The Positional is between these 2. It’s more comfortable in the hand (my opinion) than the Perp, It is not as stable as the Perp but still very good. This only means that it takes a tad more correction during play unless you’re just amazing and always throw perfect. It feels heavier in play but certainly nowhere near a rock on a string. I have been very particular with my collection not to get multiple different yo-yos that feel very similar in play. You will definitely notice a difference between these 2. Just in the way you noticed a difference in the Ring Bearer and the Perp. This difference though won’t be so drastic. The size, shape, and weight of the Positional all blend very well to make it feel very comfortable in the hand.
