Mosquito axle Mess up

Ok, so I have a mosquito that I rim satined, then glued a dif pad on, because I kept falling off.
So to the subject. I can’t open up my mosquito. The axle isn’t stripped or anything, its just the hex key isn’t connected to the plastic, so It is just spinning around.

Any way I can fix this? I never really touched it or anything…

Try pulling the two halves away from each other when you turn them.

yes, the post above me probably has it. You see, misquitos have a faulty screw system, where if you push the axle in even a little bit, the unglued rubber case inside the yoyo that keeps the hex nut in may come out. That is why I glue those rubber stoppers down.

Yeah, Mcrnja, I can’t do that, I have tryed it a million times.

I really want to open it, so I can put some rubber stoppers on like King825.

It’s not faulty. They have been using this system for years. MOSQUITO, SQUIRREL, FH2, FHZ… AND MORE. ARE THEY ALL FLAWED?

nope. I believe this to be user error. I’ve done to so don’t feel bad.

Also those little rubber things won’t fix that.

Sorry Icthus. I didn’t know what to reallt name it.
But how can I get it unscrewed?

no need to apologize. the only thing I can currently think of is drilling a hole in the center if the cap and pouring epoxy into the hex nut cavity and letting it cure. Unless its the nut side. then I don’t know.

Could the epoxy be… mighty putty? I have a crap load of that stuff.

The caps would be irreplaceable, unless I bought another one.

epoxy is a gel liquid. thats why i said pour it. mighty putty may work but you will need to destroy the cap.
