My mother would say that third one needs improvement at the end… HOLLY CRAP dude you’re blowing me away. That was great! Love your flow.
Damn you’re good! All sorts of awesome stuff here!!
But…and this is just a slight criticism…
Video needs 100% more kitty!
lol
Your mother would be right, lol, that was so close to my face.
@twitch77 I promise to have her as special guest in the next video. She was chilling outside this morning.
Thanks guys
Looking great dude. You have so much flow!
I’ve had a bit of a play this morning and noticed something else with the second hop. When you cross your hands back over, don’t pull your hands apart as much as you think you should. The strings loosen while hopping and pulling your hands too far apart makes the triangle to land in smaller. Try to just spread wide enough to lift the end of the triangle up rather than landing in a horizontal mount.
It’s a little slow and rough, but here’s my spirit bomb combo. I’m not sue how I managed to miss getting the tower on film from both angles.
Dude, that was amazing! Nice job!!
Yoooo man I loved that tower! I’m gonna learn it!!!
Cheers buddy. If you get stuck on it, let me know. It’s better just out of a wrist mount exit rather than after spirit bomb but it works either way. It’s called lumiose tower if you would rather work from a tutorial
Stumbled upon an old clip of mine involving Spirit Bomb and motion tracking… Motion sickness may occur

PLEASE TEACH ME YOUR ART
seriously I have no idea how you made the shot following the yoyo
That was really neat!
Whoa! You picked that up quick! Well done!
Also, I think I figured something out I’m doing wrong with the second hop after watching your slow-mo clip! Really happy you posted it!
Yeah, Just, I’m not doing the second hop right. That’s the shortcut I was talking about. I don’t land into the triangle, I land outside and on the front string.
Kinda scary that a thrower as good as you doesn’t even do spirit bomb the right way. Ive gotten so smooth at everything up to the 2nd hop, I could almost do it with my eyes closed. But then the second hop comes around, and DENIED. Every time. Im not surprised some are struggling with this trick. Id love to take the time on this trick right now, but I vowed to do a month of straight fixie play (and vivacious dabbling in modern responsives at most). Good luck twitch, I hope you get over the hurdle that I can’t yet.
lol I know I keep saying this…but I like hearing that others have struggled as much as I’m struggling on some of these tricks.
It’s like I can relax…I don’t have to beat myself up or be so hard on myself…because it’s not just ‘me’…it’s tons of people who struggle.
I feel like I’m able to give myself permission to struggle and to be okay with that struggle…instead of thinking I just ‘suck’ and getting frustrated about it.
lol I haven’t slept much the last few nights. I have no idea if anything I say makes any sense at this point! >.<’
I feel the same way about it, lol. This is one of those tricks, that as a huge DB fan I REALLY want to be able to land, show it off to friends, and tell them it’s called Spirit Bomb. But I just can’t land that second hop. I feel like this trick is one of those that separates the amateurs from the semi-pros, but I could just suck and be mistaken.
Gad you enjoy it! It seems to be one of those tricks I learned ages ago and it’s just always been in the toolbox
Make sure your bucket is very big before the first hop. That way your target is bigger on he second hop. Also if you tilt the whole thing towards your throw hand as you do the second hop, you can kind of slow it down and cheat a little bit.
Spirit boimb legit took me over a month to start landing and then probably another month or so to get it where I hit it most of the time. I would probably recommend a slightly longer string while learning it to make that triangle as big as possible until you get used to catching it. Maybe try throwing the yoyo towards your throw hand rather than straight up
