So what makes the Seven Summits throw so special? At 46mm it is wider than I prefer, and I don’t usually go for One Drop splashes.
The 7 summits is 7075 instead of 6061. Nothing special about it other than the fact it’s rare

The design is tweaked for the use of 7075 and 7 summits are actually lighter than the 6061 summits.
The 7 Summit also plays and feels much better imo.

I know it’s weight distro was tweaked a bit. Calling it a 7075 summit is still accurate.

Didn’t mention the lighter weight achieved using same dimensions and heavier alloy.
There are some manufacturers that do simply use 7075 on 6061 designs. Resulting in heavier “rock on a string” like yoyos.
